Search opportunity report — an electronics review site

  • Generated: 2026-09-30
  • Based on: your Search Console data

1. Where this site stands

Your authority. Your site scores 14 out of 100 for authority. The typical page-1 competitor for your searches scores 80, so you are weaker than the competition you are up against.

0 = no measurable authority; 100 = among the strongest sites on the web, such as Reddit and Amazon. Our own measure, from domain rank and referring domains — the same formula every competitor is measured on, so the two numbers compare directly. Not the same scale as Ahrefs DR or Moz DA.

Topical focus. 20 out of 100: how much of what your site already ranks for is about the searches in this report, weighted towards the searches where it ranks well. It is not part of the authority figure and not compared with any competitor.

What is within reach. 10 of the 248 searches we could measure (4%) are within reach at your current authority. Setting aside the ones where shops hold the page, it is 10 of 227 (4%) — that second figure is the one the verdict is based on. The verdict bands are: below 8% wrong niche at current authority; 8–25% narrow opening; 25–50% winnable with focus; above 50%, with authority at least that of the typical competitor, strong position. They are judgement, not measurement. All 10 rest on an opening held by a site we have checked is not the maker or seller of the product.

Searches no article wins. 8% of those searches have at least four shops in the top ten, which is where we stop expecting an article to rank however strong the site. That is the niche, not your authority, and it is counted separately for that reason.

Verdict. Wrong niche at current authority. Too few topics are reachable to build coverage. The honest advice is to build authority or change niche before writing more. The bands behind this verdict are judgement, not measured outcomes, and a later measurement can overturn them. This rests on one assumption: that a small site cannot outrank Reddit threads and other community discussions. If that turns out to be wrong, your prospects would look considerably better — we are testing it.

Counting individual searches or grouping them into topics gives the same verdict, so the answer does not depend on how we grouped them.

  • For 211 further searches we could not retrieve the results page, so they are left out of every figure above. Nothing was measured about them — that is not the same as their being out of reach.

Your way forward

1. Focus. Act first in bravia (2 of 23 within reach, combined value 97): 2 in Rebuild or create (sony bravia 8 oled review). Combined value adds up the 0-100 value of each search within reach. No action comes from hd 490 pro for gaming (5 within reach: too few people search for it) or tcl (1 within reach: too few people search for it). 15 topic groups have nothing within reach at all (see 4). Groups have at least 5 searches, by shared ranking pages where measured, otherwise by a shared brand or model word; 53 searches fit no group (2 within reach).

2. Improve first. None of your pages ranking 8–25 has a result above it that is both measured beatable and checked, so there is nothing to improve first.

3. Rebuild or create. Searches within reach where your site ranks below 25th or not at all, so no page of yours is doing the job yet. Searches one page can serve are merged, under the best-scoring one:

  • sony bravia 8 oled review: overall score 28, open at #4 held by ce-sphere.com. You rank #29. Also covers sony bravia 8, bravia 8 review, sony bravia 8 review. (Section 3)
  • qm8k review: overall score 25, open at #5 held by ce-sphere.com. You rank #26. Also covers tcl 98qm8k review, tcl qm8k review, tcl qm8k tv review. (Section 3)

4. Stop expecting search traffic from 5070, lg, lenovo and 12 more topic groups (114 searches, none within reach). These pages may still serve readers or earn from other channels; this analysis finds no realistic path to page-one search traffic for them at your current authority.

5. Grow authority. With about 75 more referring domains (100 in all), 20 searches would be within reach instead of 10, and the verdict would move to ‘narrow opening’.

referring domainsauthority 0-100searches within reachverdict

100 (projection)2020 of 227narrow opening
250 (projection)2431 of 227narrow opening
1,000 (projection)3037 of 227narrow opening

This projection varies referring domains only — domain rank and topical focus are held at their measured values — and rests on the same unvalidated 35/100 reachability bar as the rest of the report. It is a projection from the model, not a measurement.

2. Pages you already have

15 of your queries sit between positions 8 and 25 with impressions and no clicks. None of them can be moved up by changing the page: the results above are stronger than this site (7 queries), or were never measured (8 queries). There is nothing to act on here until the site is stronger.

This site’s page content was not retrieved or analysed, so nothing here is a judgement about what the page says. It describes the search result only.

Striking distance is an average position between 8 and 25, over queries with at least 5 impressions. An average is not a duration: it does not establish that the site held that position at any moment.

3. If you stay in this niche, these are the only openings

Section 1 counts 10 searches as within reach. Each is accounted for here: 2 as entries below, 1 as a variant of an entry (bravia 8 review) and 7 left out. The table’s variants also list 5 searches that share a page with an entry but are not within reach themselves: sony bravia 8, sony bravia 8 review, tcl 98qm8k review, tcl qm8k review, tcl qm8k tv review. Why each was left out:

  • too few people search for it (7): hd 490 pro for gaming (same topic as hd490 pro for gaming), hd 490 pro gaming (same topic as hd490 pro for gaming), hd490 pro for gaming, hd490 pro review, sennheiser hd 490 pro for gaming (same topic as hd490 pro for gaming), sennheiser hd490 pro gaming (same topic as hd490 pro for gaming), tcl qm7k peak brightness

In 62 of the searches we measured, a top-five place is held by the company that makes or sells the product searched (lenovo.com, lg.com, electronics.sony.com, forum.headphones.com, headphones.com, apple.com and 9 more). Those places are held by the maker or seller and are not counted as openings: they belong to the company behind the product, and an article does not take them over.

Both openings below are held by sites we have checked are not the maker or seller of the product.

This site’s page content was not retrieved or analysed, so nothing here is a judgement about what the page says. It describes the search result only.

Recommended titles, H1s and missing sections are not produced in this version: the site’s page content was never retrieved, and generating them from metadata alone would be invention.

A search counts as reachable when we score it at least 35 out of 100 for reachability. The overall score is reachability combined with how valuable the search is, and both halves are shown separately so a good overall score cannot hide a weak half.

4. What this report cannot tell you

  • Your Search Console export lists 471 searches. It can hold up to 1,000, so none were cut off.
  • Named queries account for 1,280 of 8,602 impressions (15%); the rest are anonymised and cannot be recovered.
  • The export was taken over the last 16 months but the data covers 244 days (2026-01-17 to 2026-09-17) — the site has no history before that, which is not a defect in the export.
  • Search Console lists your searches and your pages separately and does not say which page answered which search, so this report never assumes a pairing between them.
  • 712 of 2347 competitor slots (30%) were judged by the kind of site holding them rather than by a measured strength. Those judgements are less reliable than the measured ones and are marked as such wherever they appear.
  • The model has no site-age term, so it systematically under-scores young sites. A site under about 6 months will receive a pessimistic report that reflects the missing variable as much as the site. This site is about 8 months old, which is outside it.
  • Our bar for calling a search reachable — 35 out of 100 — has never been checked against what actually happened to any site. It is a judgement awaiting evidence, and every ‘within reach’ figure here depends on it.
  • We set a search aside as one no article wins when 4 or more different shops hold the top ten. That count is a judgement we inherited, never checked against what happened to any site, and it ignores where on the page the shops sit — four of them in positions seven to ten is treated the same as four in the top four. This is not a claim that those shops are hard to outrank: a weak shop can be outranked, but doing it does not help, because Google is filling those slots with shops whoever writes the page.

The 35/100 screen has not yet been validated against ranking outcomes. Reachability is a model score, not a percentage chance of ranking.

How to use the findings

Be selective about where you invest.

With more potential openings, search value becomes central to prioritization. Compare high-value category, comparison and product terms within the feasible set, using the competitor evidence for each search.

Only aggregate figures are shown for this third-party report. Its keywords and competitor names are withheld. Openings held by a reviewed maker or seller of the searched product are already excluded. The rest are held by sites whose business has not been reviewed, so these are model totals, not verified editorial opportunities.

How the scores and screening cutoff work

Reachability varies by site and keyword. The engine considers site strength, keyword difficulty, available ranking positions and search intent. A keyword scoring 55 does not give the website a reachability score of 55.

35/100 is the engine's existing screening cutoff. It is shared across sites because site strength already changes the score. Passing it identifies a potential opening; it does not determine which opportunity deserves the most investment.

Value helps prioritize the feasible set. It combines search demand, advertising cost per click and search intent. Overall priority combines reachability and value. “Best,” “top” or brand wording alone does not establish value or feasibility.

Different reports use different keyword samples. These charts are model assessments, not ranking outcomes or forecasts of an authority increase.
